I first had the pleasure of meeting James Kenyon in 1996, when James was recommended by a business associate.

I was attempting my fist self-build project, which was at first a great idea and we set off full of enthusiasm and ambition.

Unfortunately, this didn’t last long and the reality of what I had undertaken was not as straight forward as I had thought.

However, after meeting James, I soon realised all I needed was an expert in this field and that is what I found.

James is an extremely knowledgeable and professional individual, that specialises in domestic construction work.

Together we completed my first self-build project, within both my timescale and more importantly budget. To a very high standard of care and quality.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending James Kenyon, to anybody who is thinking of undertaking building work for themselves and particularly in their personal home.

The proof as they say is in the pudding because in 2014, when my wife and I decided to undertake another self-build project. The first call we made, was to James….. “Do you fancy doing it all again? We are looking for another plot of land”.

Again, James was instrumental in the execution of our second self-build. This was again completed on time and to the very highest standard but unfortunately not within budget. But that was entirely our doing, nothing to do with James, despite his best efforts. A man’s home is his castle, and it takes a very special type of person to care as much about that castle, as the king does, and James is that man.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending James and just to let you know James, we are looking for another plot.
